The Ukkola family (head: Emma Ukkola) has distinguished itself by putting its fingers into dozens of different mining prospects around the lake including on Mt. Ukkova, where disputes with druids have resulted in open fighting. As a clan with connections on all sides of the lake, they despise the king's short-sighted policies and back a new, Pellervoinen king.
